All sales are final, with one exception: software that will not run. Last updated October 25, 2026.
Try it first
Every paid plugin has a thirty-day trial, and Trim is free. The trial is the full plugin on your own system, in your own DAW, with your own music. Use it before you buy. It is the reason sales can be final.
Check the system requirements as well. They are what we test against.
The exception
If a plugin will not run on a system that meets its requirements, and we cannot fix it, we refund it in full. There is no deadline to tell us.
Open a ticket on the support page with your system, your DAW and what happens. Most of these turn out to be something we can fix in a day. If we cannot, we refund to the card you paid with and the license is revoked. Uninstall the plugin and delete your copies. How long the refund takes to appear is up to your bank.
Not covered: changing your mind, buying the wrong plugin by accident, a computer that does not meet the requirements, or a DAW we do not support. Write to us anyway if something has gone wrong. We would rather sort it out than leave you with software you cannot use.
Other cases
Charged twice for the same plugin, or bought the same one on two accounts by mistake? Tell us and we refund the duplicate.
If you start a chargeback, the license is revoked while the bank works through it. Please open a ticket first. It is faster, and we can usually fix the problem itself.
We sell to customers in the United States. Where a state law gives you a right this page does not, that law wins. VanDeYacht Audio is Jacob VanDeYacht, doing business as VanDeYacht Audio, 1679 Remington Ridge Way, De Pere, WI 54115. Questions: support@vandeyachtaudio.com.
